I'd been trying to observe reality from diferent points of view
through the years, and take it into my artistic universe in every
way, the artist's commitment goes hand in hand with society and
sometimes you can extract the positive and negative aspects of our
times.
Paradoxically, one idea come up after a period of critical observation,
the so called "trash TV" and the reality shows played
around the world, makes me see how the artistic's contents were
filled with common people, like if they were laboratory animals
to be observed.
The program that shot up to the top of the ratings if the one that
shows the people more obscure, morbidity, perfidy, everything is
useful and valid for entertainment. In that moment come up the idea
of filling an artistic concept with common people, to look for the
beauty we all carry inside ourselves, that's why the idea of "german'
s souls" was born, portraits of people not related to
the arts, may be people that go to the opening of an exhibition,
with differents occupations (an architect, a cosmetician, a violinist,
a handball's national team
player, a pharmacist, a real estate agent, etc.) will be part of
the artistic concept. Mirror´s duality, Alice in Wonderland's
parable, crossing the frontier between the observer and the
observee, helped to the realization of this project, and above all,
the persons portrayed, to whom I give my ethernal gratitude.

Comentarios
He intentado observar al realidad desde distintos puntos de vista
a través de los años y llevarlos a mi universo creativo
en todas las formas posibles.
El compromiso del artista va de la mano con la sociedad y a veces
puede extraer los aspectos positivos y negativos de nuestro tiempo.
Paradójicamente, una idea llegó después de
un período de observación crítica. La llamada
"televisión chatarra" y los "reality shows"
transmitidos en todo el mundo me hicieron ver los espacios artísticos
llenos de gente común, como si fueran animales de laboratorio
para su observación.
El programa que alcanzó la cúspide de los ratings
era el más obscuro, morboso y lleno de perfidia.
Todo es útli y válido para entretener.
En ese momento tuve la idea de llenar un concepto artístico
con gente común, buscar la belleza intrínseca que
todos llevamos.
De ahí nació la idea de "las almas alemanas"
Retratos de personas no relacionadas con el arte, tal vez de gente
que acude a la inauguración de una exposición, gente
con distintas ocupaciones (arquitectos, cosmetólogos, violinistas,
un jugador de la selección nacional de handball, un boticario,
un corredor de bienes raices etc...) como parte de un concepto
artístico.
La dualidad de los espejos y la parábola de Alicia en el
País de las Maravillas cruzando la frontera entre el observador
y el observado me ayudaron a la realización de este proyecto,
pero, sobre todo, las personas que retraté, a quienes estaré
eternamente agradecido.
