A I choose to work with a high-speed
film
because I find that its harsh grain better
translates
my emotions into a two-dimensional work of art. The
result is akin to a charcoal drawing or the
brushstrokes of a painting. I choose to use very
subdued existing light and enhance it using the
light
strokes of a pocket lamp. I use long exposures in
order to capture the passing of time in a single
image, as if it were a one-minute movie condensed
into
one single frame.

Decidí trabajar con película de alta velocidad por que
me parece que su grano grueso traduce mejor mis
emociones a un trabajo artístico bidimensional. El
resultado es similar a un dibujo con carbón o alos
brochazos de una pintura. decidí utilizar la tenue luz
del lugar y resaltalra usando el haz de luz de una
linterna de bolsillo. Uso exposiciones largas para
poder capturar el apso delo tiempo en una sola imagen,
como si fuera una película de un minuto de duración
condensada en un solo cuadro.
