The nude always appears in our imagination and in visual arts of every time. “The art is erotic” (Adolph Loos) and the carnality of revealed bodies could be, now more than ever, evidence of “to be” in the reality of the world, in an age that technological and digital evolution mark with a progressive loss of sensorial emotions. In my opinion, to face up to the genre of nude in photography today means to confront himself with the model proposed by mass-media of  vacuum and sterilely repetivive beauty. The view camera with its large (with the Giant Polaroid very large) format enforces to a reflective approach, oriented toward a sole goal. The Polaroid 20?24 view camera and the Polacolor ER film, because the limits forced by optics laws and the blemishes due to the special chemical process, showed as tools symbolically and concretely suitable for an approach opposite to the serialization and digitization of the body.
