On this set i'm presenting 5 photos of a serie done between 2005 and 2006, documenting the traditional "São Bartolomeu do Mar" festival, that occurs in the portuguese north coast, with the famous “Banho Santo” (Holy Bath), which the locals believe has the power to protect children’s health and alleviate sickness.

Aquí presento 5 fotos de una serie hecha entre 2005 y 2006 en la que se documenta el tradicional festival de San Bartolomé del Mar, que tiene lugar en la costa norte de Portugal con su famoso "baño santo" con el que los locales buscan proteger las salud de los niños y aliviar sus enfermedades.
