For eight weeks, I spent every day shooting the
people. places and things that appeared before me
while I searched
for truth and substance in this land of the once
great Inca
Civilization.
TAHUANTINSUYO-21 is a the fulfillment
of a
lifetime dream of capturing the descendants of the
Incas today, for
posterity.Going from the Peruvian coast, to the
majestic
Andes and into the Amazonian rainforest to the
Bolivian Altiplano in
order to document the people, places and remnants
of the Incas.
During the process, I shot over 8,000 digital
photos and 600 images
on film (yes there is a noted difference).
The
following is but a peek...

Durante
8 semanas fotografié diairiamente a la gente,
lugares y cosas que aparecián en torno a mi, y al
mismo tiempo buscaba la verdad y substancia de esta
tierra qua albergó a la gran civilización Inca.
TAHUANTINSUYO-21 es la realización de un sueño de
toda
la vida de retratar a los descendientes de los Incas
para la posteridad. Fui de la costa peruana a los
majestuosos Andes y de la selva Amazónica al altiplano
boliviano para documentar la gente, lugares y restos
de los Incas, hice más de 8000 tomas digitales y 600
en película (si hay una diferencia notable).
Lo que
sigue es solo un vistazo...
