They call them Sunday people. They live in the
subway trains. Entering a car, you notice them first
they’re occupying the most convenient seats.
They have lots of things to do, and they’re doing
nothing. Sometimes they have an umbrella. Nobody
knows why they are called Sunday people, but if
you look at their noses, you can see that they’re
getting sunburnt they’re burnt by the Sun,
therefore they’re Sunday people. It’s them who ride
the last train late at night, and they’re the
first passangers early in the morning. They never
drink coffee in a car, sometimes only instant tea in
white shimmering plastic cups. You can see them all
days of the week, but they’re called Sunday people.
If it’s raining, their hair s wet but the raincoat is
dry and clean.Sometimes they write something tiny in
their tiny notebooks, holding tiny pencils in
their tiny hands. They know all names of all the
stations and they help people with bikes. If it’s a
woman, she can eat an apple, hiding her ears under
a gigantic woolen hat. You’ll hardly see them
entering a car, but when it’s your station, they
will leave the train together
with you, and you’ll never see them again
they’ll disappear on the platform.

Comentarios
Los llaman la gente del domingo y viven en los trenes
del subterráneo . Al entrar al vagón notas que ocupan
los mejores asientos, tinene mucho que hacer y no
hacen nada. A veces tienen una sombrilla.Nadis sebe
por que los llman genten del domingo pero si observas
su nariz verás que está tostada por el sol y que eso
los hace gente del domingo. Ellso son losultimos
pasajeros del tren nocturo y los primeros del diurno.
Nunca toman café en el vagón, solo te instantaneo en
brillantes tazas de plástico. Puedes verlos todos los
días de la semana aunque se les llame gente del
domingo. Si llueve su cabello está mojado pero su
impermeable está limpio y seco. A veces hacern
pequeñas notas con sus pequeñas manos en sus pequeños
cuadernos. Conocen los nombres de todas las estaciones
y ayudan a la gente que trea bicicletas. Si es una
mujer puede comer una manzana ocultando sus orejas
bajo un gigantesco gorro de lana . rara vez se ve
cuando abordan el vagón pero si es tu estación se
irán del tren junto contigo para nunca verlos jamás,
desaparecerán en el andén.
