Batticaloa is a town located in east Sri Lanka. A conflict area
and also a Tsunami affected area and was under tamil autorities
and now under sinhalese regular governement protection.
People living in this town can testimony of what's coming
from north and coming from south. Focal point of this reportage
is oriented on people living in Batticaloa to show stress
situation caused by war or Tsunami effect on people themself.
As in Gaza people are continuing their life. During some
night weapons are launched in other side of the lagoon
where are located rebel tamil tiger Eelam. A new military
strategy by besiege part of country is applied since President
Mahinda Rajapakse reach the power. Evacuation of civilian
is regulated to keep tamil rebel in the close area. Assault
and weapons are definitively contribute to eradication
of tamil tiger. As a punishment hundred thousand tamil
civilian displace join Batticaloa from north and need receive
help by relief international organization around Batticaloa.
During their evacuation huge part of refugees were not
able to take identity paper or personnal item inducing
problems. And refugees hope without apparent stress to
come back to home very fast when war area will reopen but
its not the case and they are compelled to sell jewellery
to stand and a large number of family are standing since
one year or more. As a Sri lankan equilibrium when bomb
blast in the street killing and injuring sinhalese. The
army response go in tamil refugee camp for killing and
injuring as same damage..

Batticaloa es una ciudad situada en Sri Lanka del este. Un área
de conflicto y también afectada por el Tsunami. Estaba bajola
autoridad de los tamiles pero ahora se encuentra bajo protección
regular del gobierno cingalés.La gente que vive en este
pueblo puede dar testimonio de lo qué está viniendo
del norte y está viniendo del sur. El punto focal de este
reportaje se orienta en la gente que vive en Batticaloa y la situación
de tensión sobre la gente causada por la guerra y como efecto
del Tsunami . tal como la gente de Gaza continúa su vida.
En ciertas noches se oye el sonido de los misiles lanzados del
otro lado de la laguna donde están los rebeldes tamiles
loas tigres Eelam. Se aplica una nueva estrategia militar desde
la llegada la poder del presidente
Mahinda Rajapakse. La evacuación de civiles se regula para
mantener a los rebeldes tamiles en las áreas cercanas.Los
ataques y las armas contribuyen definitivamente a la erradicación
de los tigres tamiles. Como castigo cientos de miles de civiles
tamiles han sido desplazados a Batticaloa desde el norte y precisan
la ayuda de las organizaciones humanitairas. Durante su evacuación
la muchos refugiados no pudieron llevarse papeles de identidad
u objetos personales lo queh ha provocado problemas. Y los
refugiados esperan aparrentemente en calma poder volver a su hogar,
pero no es el caso y se ven obligados a vender joyería muchas
familias tienen ya un año o más en esta situación.
El equilñibrio en Sri Lanka se da cuando estalla una bomba
matando e hiriendo cingaleses, para que luego vengan las represalias
en los campos de refugiados tamiles.
