When someone leaves in search of the American Dream,
they do not leave alone, they are accompanied by the
look of the ones they leave behind and are already
longing for them when they take their firs steps
towards the adventure.
The journey of the Mexican
Migrant workers has been extensively documented,
however, we rarely look back to those who remain on
the poverty-ridden towns and have to suffer the pain
of the exodus, even if they never leave.

Cuando alguien parte en busca del “Sueño Americano” no
se va solo:lo acompaña la mirada de aquellos a quienes
deja y que ya desde los primeros pasos hacia la
aventura lo extraña y añora su regreso.
La travesía de los migrantes mexicanos ha sido
motivo de miles de documentos. Sin embargo, escasas
veces se vuelve la vista atrás, a las personas que se
quedan en esos pueblos cundidos por la miseria y que,
en ocasiones sin haber salido jamás de la tierra
donde nacieron, sufren también los flagelos del éxodo.
