I knew Moni and Stella when they lived in an abandoned train wagon in
the outskirts of Buenos Aires. Through  time I understood
the true value of their struggle. Struck by poverty and excluded
socially by their relation, they rose out of their tragic pasts, with courage, they
became two women who choose to become a couple in spite of
the glances and, despite their shortcomings and aches, they are united .
With them I understood the ample sense of the word family, and the
deep meaning of  love. In Argentina there is still a long way to
go in the fight for gay rights.

Conocí a Moni y Stella cuando vivían en un vagón de ferrocarril abandonado en las afueras de Buenos Aires. A través del tiempo comprendí el verdadero valor de su lucha.
Golpeadas por la pobreza y excluidas socialmente por su relación, ellas se levantaron sobre sus trágicos pasados, se transformaron con la valentía de dos mujeres que eligen hacerse a pesar de las miradas y se unen a pesar de sus carencias y dolores.
Con ellas entendí el amplio sentido de la palabra familia, y el profundo significado del amor.
En Argentina aún queda un largo camino por recorrer en la lucha por los derechos de l@s homosexuales.
