"Contratiempo" is the word I chose to name the experience
of being in a dance hall. I went out to explore how men and women
relate to each other through their bodies. I found that movement
is the best pretext that we have found to get together. I encountered
that adolescent desire, somewhat prohibited, somewhat blind, somewhat
musical.

“Contratiempo” es la palabra que elegí para nombrar
lo vivido en los lugares de baile. Me fui a buscar el cómo
los hombres y las mujeres se relacionan por medio del cuerpo.
Encontré que el movimiento es el mejor pretexto que hemos
encontrado para estar juntos. Encontré esa sensación
adolescente del deseo, un tanto prohibida, un tanto ciega, un
tanto música.
