This work attempts to portray the relationship that Christians have with the image of Jesus after 2000 years. Religion is an important part of popular culture in Latin America. My photographs try to capture those moments of intimacy between the believer and the icon representing her or his faith.
I worked on this project over the past three years. The photos were taken on black and white film.

La intención de este trabajo es la de registrar la relación que los cristianos tienen con la imagen de Jesús, 2000 años despues. En América Latina la religión es parte importante de la cultura popular. Mis fotografías tratan de captar aquellos momentos de intimidad, entre el que cree y el icono que representa su fe.
Este trabajo lo he realizado en los últimos tres años, las fotografías han sido tomadas con pelicula blanco y negro.
