Technique
I begin with photos using a Minolta 5000i, and then go into many
levels with them. I may superimpose, while moving images around,
using Photoshop, then layer and erase, put on fine papers and use
acrylics, scan that, add more layers, then make a giclee. Or, using
slides, then make polaroid transfers, either emulsion or image.
I then may scan and once again work with Photoshop. In a couple
of these, I covered a mirror with various materials, shot that,
and superimposed that over them for texture. |

Técnica
Parto de fotografías usando una Minolta 5000i, explorando
con ellas distintos niveles. Las puedo superponer, moviendo las
imágenes, usando Photoshop, creando y borrando capas, imprimiendo
sobre papel fino, usando acrílicos, digitalizando el resultado,
añadiendo más capas y creando un glicée. O
uso diapositivas, hago transfers de Polaroid, ya sea emulsión
o imagen. Luego puedo digitalizarlas y usar otra vez Photoshop.
En un par de fotos cubrí un espejo con varios materiales,
tomé una foto y la sobrepuse para crear textura. |

doubled and combined with a building in BC, a photo of which I
painted on, before superimposing.
