Through my work, I try to interpret (an hermenutical undertaking) that part of reality selected by my mood. I feel the need to interpret my surrounding reality, and this presses me to photograph the things that capture my attention and to process the images I take. The most important thing however is the interpretative function of those that view my work. The viewer has the responsability of arriving to his or her own conclusions. My work's only aspiration is to capture the potential viewer and to serve as a stepping stone leading into his or her own inner world. The viewer and the creator come from different existential worlds and the observed/created work must serve as an existential bridge between the two.

A través de mi obra trato de interpretar (tarea hermenéutica) la parte de la realidad que mi estado anímico selecciona. Esa tarea de interpretación de la realidad que me rodea me es muy necesaria, y por ello me siento urgido a fotografiar lo que me atrapa y a tratar las imágenes que capto. Pero lo más importante es la tarea interpretativa del observador de mis obras. El tiene la responsabilidad de llegar a sus propias conclusiones. A lo único que aspira mi obra es a atrapar al observador potencial, y que ésta le sirva de trampolín para penetrar en su propia interioridad. Observador y creador parten de mundos existenciales distintos, y la obra observada/creada debe servir de puente existencial entre ambos.
