These images are manipulations of 35mm color slides I took 10-15 years ago.Four of the slides originally took the theme of the American roadside.
The picture of the spinning satelite came from a series of photos I took in off-beat museums.
My technique was to project the slides on different surfaces and then rephotograph them with a 4 X 5 camera,thereby cropping,distorting, and generally re-interpretting the originals.
As a last step I ran them through photoshop tweaking the color even more and making other slight alterations.

Estas imágenes son manipulaciones de transparencias de color de 35mm que tome hace 10 o 15 años.
Cuatro de estas transparenciastienen como tema las carreteras norteamericanas. La foto del satélite proviene de una serie que tomé en museos extraños.
Mi técnica es proyectar las transparencias en distintas superficies y fotografiarlas con una cámara de 4x5, de este modo recorto, distorsiono y reinterpreto los originales. El último paso consistío en pasarlos por Photoshop para ajustar el color y algunas pequeñas alteraciones.
