Cyanotypes were invented in the nineteenth century by Sir John Herschel to reproduce his mathematical formulas. Later on architects and engineers incorporated cyanotypes to reproduce their plans and technical drawings. This process was always involved with information and numbers, formulas and plans, playing an important role in preserving knowledge. Following this line I intended to do digital images printed in cyanotypes, after all they are also mathematical formulas, the basic language of computers.

This is a comment on the uprising digital revolution. How things and relationships are becoming more artificial and superficial as well. It is a change that is in process in our present days and we have to know how to make good use of it. Especially in arts I feel that what lacks in most of digital printed works is the artist touch, his or her involvement.
