These images developed from they way I felt after moving to the outer fringes of the city. There is a sense of isolation living in the outer suburbs of Melbourne where you are cut off from the city and any feeling of belonging to a community. People move to the city fringes to build houses feeling they need to have their own personal stamp on the landscape, only to build identical houses to all the others in the street.

Estas imágenes tuvieron su origen en el sentimiento que me provocó mudarme a las afueras de la ciudad. Hay una sensación de aislamiento al vivir en los suburbios de Melbourne al estar separado de la ciudad y no tener ningún sentido comunitario. La gente se muda a las afueras de la ciudad y construye casas creyendo que tienen que darle su toque personal al paisaje, solamente para construir casa idénticas a todas las demás en la misma calle.
