The images are interpretations of events, places, people.
They are direct and contain photography, but may beckon metaphors
of culture or history orthe history of ideas.
The
photographic elements may be severely manipulatedand juxtaposed
and even clouded in non-photographic elements to elicit theidea,
the subject of the image.
They are printed from digital files tophotographic substrates
e.g. C print material, or they are printed tonon-photographic
substrates using an inkjet process. None of these imagesare
confined to a single idea, but there is a root in the title.
