Comment:
'100 metres above sea level' is a visual poem, using
the restriction of height to survey the city.
The work draws upon both minimalist conceptual and postmodern
practice. It breaks and merges genres and scales of photography
on the wall or on the page, to create sequences that flow seamlessly
together.
The sequences of images have been created with independent themes
but when brought together in exhibition, comment on photography
as an art-form.
The work uses the modern audience's unconscious acceptance of
various types of imagery to guide through a narrative of of
isolation and marginalisation.
The piece is essentially a window to an uncomfortable personal
journey where they are never allowed to settle or stand still.

"100
metros sobre el nivel del mar" es un poema visual, que
usa la restricción de la altura para explorar la ciudad.
El trabajo se alimenta del postmodernismo y el minimalismo conceptual.
Rompe y mezcla géneros y escalas fotográficas en
una página o en un mural, para crear secuencias que fluyan
ininterrumpidamente.
Las secuencias de las imágenes han sido creadas con temas
independientes, pero cuando se juntan en una exposición
nos hacen un comentario sobre la fotografía como arte.
Esta obra es la aceptación inconciente del público
moderno de varios tipos de imágenes para guiarlo a través
de una narrativa de aislamiento y marginación.
La pieza es esencialmente una ventana hacia una incómoda
jornada personal donde no se permite asentarse o quedarse quieto.
