"Auto-retrato"
The
works in this series stem from the belief that the world need not
be either abstracted or simplified. Rather, an all-encompassing
simplicity exists a-priori in every component of the universe. This
forces one to create his own meaning out of every object encountered.
Thus, the automatically simple world may only have meaning through
imbuing it with one's own self, making every image captured an auto-portrait,
so to speak.

the series: "Autoportraits"
Los trabajos de esta serie provienen de la creeencia de que el
mundo no necesita de abstracciones o simplificaciones. Más
bien una simplicidad a-priori rodea totalmente a todos los componentes
de luniverso. Esto nos obliga a crear un significado para todos
los objetos que encontramos. Por eso puede ser que el automático
mundo simple solo tenga significado a través del propio
ser, haciendo, por así decirlo, hablar a cada imagen autorretratada.
