This work collects a series of images of the Teatro Colón, the most important theater in Colombia. I captured these spaces with my Leica and a 16mm Hologon lense using tungsten film and artificial lighting.

I then manipulated the negatives mixing them with strips of color slides, those that appear at the end of rolls of film.

I am in no way interested in capturing images of the obvious. I always try to experiment with different methods in order to transform the obvious into something surreal.

Esta obra recoge una serie de imágenes del Teatro Colón, el más importante de Colombia, espacios que capté con mi Leica y un lente Hologon 16mm usando película de tungsteno con luz artificial.

Luego, manipulé los negativos, mezclándolos con tiras de transparencias de colores, aquéllas que aparecen al final de los rollos.

En ningún momento me interesa capatar imágenes de lo obvio siempre trato de experimentar con diferentes métodos para volver lo obvio en algo surreal.
