Technique
A mixture of Kodak Tri-X, C-41 B&W (Kodak and Ilford), and Ilford's 3200 speed film. Often throwing the camera out of focus and/or handholding the camera during exposures to produce blur and limiting the ability to recognize bodyparts.

The P Project started, like most, from a simple question: could actual porn images be turned into art? Could I consciously use my photographic tools and my creativity to produce something "recognizable to the soul"? Other photographers have tackled the same question. Whether I have succeeded or failed is up to you, but I have, for sure, created something that - in the words of one my co-workers - "looks weird". Maybe in the age of disposable everything that is challenge enough.

El proyecto P comenzó como la mayoría por una simple pregunta ¿Es posible convertir en arte a las fotos pornográficas? ¿Podría utilizar mis herramientas fotográficas y mi creatividad para prodicir algo que el alma "reconozca"? Otros fotógrafos han traatdo de responder a ésta pregunta. Si he tenido o no éxito depende de ustedes. Pero tengan por cierto que he creado algo que -en palabras de un colega del trabajo- se ve "extraño". Quizá en la era de lo desechable esto sea suficiente.
