Technique
My technique consists of direct takes which are then turned
into positive and ensambled as a still life. Not satified by this,
I then submit the images to a digital photomontage using textures
taken from direct shots or digitalized with a scanner.
Reproduction
on papers with different textures is another alternative I use
in my search. I obtain the colors from the digital palette.
In this case, the shots were taken between 1998 and 2000 and all
have been digitally manipulated.

Técnica
Mi técnica es la toma directa, luego positivada y armada
en bodegón. No conforme con esto, someto las imágenes
a fotomontaje digital con texturas captadas en tomas directas
o digitalizadas desde el scanner.
La reproducción sobre papeles de diferentes texturas constituye
otra alternativa en mis búsquedas. El color lo obtengo
de la paleta digital.
En el caso de estas fotografías, las tomas fueron realizadas
entre 1998 y 2000 y la totalidad han sido tratadas digitalmente.

Comments
Photographs are the sum of the photographer's circumstances and
mine are meant to be an ironic excercise in the light of there
being "No future".
"Argentina 2000" is a series of ten photographs inspired
on my own emotional discontent and that of friends and strangers
which was originated in this country's absurd social and political
circumstances. It is like living in the 7th and a half floor in
the movie "Being John Malkovich".
I do not seek to obtain a "finished product"; I am in
constant search. The photographs here exhibited are a plastic
pause in the road I am following which leaves me unsatisfied half
the time.

Comentarios
La fotografía es la suma de las circunstancias del fotógrafo;
y las mías pretenden ser un ejercicio irónico ante
el "No futuro".
"Argentina 2000" es una serie de 10 fotografías
inspiradas en el malestar emocional propio, de amigos y extraños,
originado hace mucho tiempo en el absurdo político-social
de este país. Algo así como vivir en el piso 7 1/2
del film "¿Quieres ser John Malkovich?" (Being
John Malkovich).
No persigo un "producto terminado", estoy en búsqueda
constante. Las fotos expuestas consisten en una pausa plástica
de ese camino que recorro, quedando la mitad de las veces insatisfecho.
