The following work focuses on my interest in feminism in photography. Through the use of specific objects and colors, I relate, through symbolism and metaphors, objects and the female to create a vision of where women’s roles in our society. The work is done in traditional black and white analog photography with the use of a grand format camera (4x5) and then scanned and digitized and then manipulated with the use of PhotoShop. In many cases the work is then enlarged to a grand format through the use of a plotter. The work was done in 2000-2001.

La presente obra se centra en mi interés por el feminismo en la fotografía. Usando objetos y colores específicos, relaciono los objetos con la mujer, a través del simbolismo y la metáfora, creando así una visión del papel de la mujer en nuestra sociedad. El trabajo se realizó con fotografía análoga en blanco y negro usando una cámara de formato grande (4x5), después se digitalizaron las fotografías y se manipularon por medio de Photoshop. En muchos casos, las amplío a un formato grande usando un plotter. El trabajo se realizó en 2000-2001.
