Skin is not only a cultural or consumption object. No personal
revival can tell every detail. Not even photography. You just
have to be there. This series is part of my first individual exhibition
project, 10 years ago, and it mutates every time, like the paper
does with tha passing of time. Contents- with no capacity of understanding-
pretend to hide behind the metaphor of statues that are sleeping
or about to wake. There is a desire of avoiding the passing of
time and of idealizing (as always) the human forms, but, above
all, to record that small latent instant of deliverance that we
thought we saw in a sculpture.

Comentarios
La piel no es solo un objeto cultural o de consumo. Ningun revival
personal llega a contar cada detalle. Ni la fotografia. Solo hay
que estar ahi. Esta serie forma parte de mi primer proyecto de
exhibicion personal hace ya 10 años y muta cada vez, como
el papel con el paso del tiempo. El contenido -sin capacidad de
comprension - pretende ocultarse tras la metafora de algunas estatuas
dormidas o a punto de despertar. Existe algun afan de evitar que
ese tiempo pase y de idealizar (como siempre) las formas humanas,
pero sobre todo registrar ese pequeño instante latente
y de impulsos de emancipacion que creimos ver en alguna figura
escultorica.
