Technique
Digital negatives printed on B&W photographic paper. I scanned
the pictures and I digitally modified them producing medium format
negatives by digital means. Afterwards all the negatives were enlarged
through traditional photographic processes. The final product is
therefore a regular photograph printed on gelatin silver. |

Negativos digitales impresos sobre papel blanco y negro. Digitalicé
las imágenes, las modifiqué digitalmente, produciendo
negativos en formato medio por medios digitales. Después
se ampliaron los negativos con procesos fotográficos tradicionales.
De este modo, el resultado final es una fotografía normal
impresa en plata sobre gelatina. |

Comments
No other image can represent the contemporary city in a better
fashion. Cities modify their own images to produce a symbol, an
icon of the city, which is always sellable and lucrative. The
images have been modified following this idea; it is my critique
of the modern-day city.

Comentarios
La ciudad contemporánea no puede ser representada por ninguna
otra imagen. La ciudad modifica su propia imagen para producir
un símbolo, un icono de la ciudad, que es siempre vendible
y lucrativo. Las imágenes se modificaron de este modo y
son una crítica de la ciudad contemporánea.
