Comments
I attempt to explore the images which look beyond the person,
enter the internal space and perceive what we can not see of each
other. In my work, I am fascinated by searching for diverse emotions,
deep fear, pieces of memory and identity. My principal motivation
is to find through the images the sensations that are locked up
in our bodies. The images evoke a religious icon facing the symbols
and representations of those suppressed feelings. The subject
of my work is the body. I use simple elements: pieces of paper,
fabrics that combined with the photographis chemistry transform
the original image in strong visual results.

Comentarios
Intento explorar las imagenes que miran más alla de la
persona, entrar al espacio interior y percibir lo que no podemos
mirar de nosotros. En mi trabajo me fascina buscar las distintas
emociones, los miedos profundos, los retazos de la memoria y la
identidad. Mi motivación principal es encontrar a través
de las imágenes las sensaciones atrapadas en nuestros cuerpos.
Las imágenes evocan un ícono religioso enfrentando
los símbolos y representaciones de esos sentimientos reprimidos.
El tema de mi obra es el cuerpo. Uso elementos simples: trozos
de papel y telas que combinadas con los químicos transforman
la imagen original con fuertes resultados visuales.
