Enchanted to be walking the streets of a new village or city, I use a simple point-and-shoot camera and take photos as unobstrusivley as I can. Back home, I can't seem to let go of where I have just travelled. I paint on the photos with very thick water-colors and collage images from other photos. After I have scanned and printed out the enlarged the images, sometimes 2x3 feet, I often paint on them again with another layer of water colors.

Encantada de poder caminar por las calles de un pueblo o una ciudad nueva, usé una simple cámara para tomar fotos del modo más discreto posible. Al regresar a casa, no puedo dejar ir los lugares que visité. Pinto sobre las fotos con acuarelas y hago collage con imágenes de otras fotos. Después de digitalizar e imprimir las ampliaciones, a veces de 2x3 pies, con frecuencia vuelvo a pintar sobre ellas con otra capa de acuarela.
