A few years later, I discovered the Jersey Sea Shore and its many
amusement parks; from Keansburg to Atlantic City and further south
to "The Wildwoods-By-The-Sea," which has spectacular piers
that jut out to the ocean's edge and contain many exciting attractions:
water rides, roller coasters, and amazing loop rides, to mention
just a few.
As
my travels have carried me from the Atlantic to the Pacific coasts
and the many places in-between, my quest into the amusement world
has expanded to include traveling carnivals, circuses and fairs.
When the carnival comes to town the landscape changes quickly,
as the caravan of trucks unload their cargo of people, tents,
rides, sideshows, games, and food stands; this alluring and colorful
world, like magic, appears and disappears as it travels from town
to town.

Algunos años después, descubrí la costa
de Jersey con sus innumerables parques de diversion, desde Keansburg
a Atlantic City, y más al sur hasta The Wildwoods-By-The-Sea,
con sus espectaculares muelles que se proyectan de la costa y
tienen muchas atractivos: juegos acuáticos, montañas
rusas, por mencionar algunas.
Mis
viajes me han ido llevando de la costa atlántica a la pacífica
y a los lugares intermedios, y mi exploración del mundo del entretenimineto
se ha expandido para incluir ferias ambulantes y circos. Cuando
llega la feria a un pueblo, el paisaje cambia rápidamente; la
caravana de caminones descarga su cargamento de personas, carpas,
juegos, espectáculos y puestos de comida. Este mundo atrayente
y lleno de color, como la magia, va apareciendo y desapareciendo
mientras viaja de un pueblo a otro.
