All these pictures were taken on the southern coast of Ireland. They are not so much concerned with showing the world as it is—to be merely descriptive—but that they would be self contained and have their own expressive energy. To me, the musical qualities of Harmony, Melody and Rhythm are like a spiritual geometry which binds everything together and itis these qualities which I look for when I use my camera.

Todas las fotografías se tomaron en la costa sur de Irlanda. Me preocupaba no tanto mostrar el mundo tal cual es—ser meramente descriptivo—, sino que las imágenes fueran autocontenidas y que tuvieran su propia energía expresiva. Las cualidades musicales de la Armonía, la Melodía y el Ritmo son para mí una geometría espiritual que une a todas las cosas. Esto es lo que busco al usar mi cámara.
