Technique
These images were shot on 5x4 large format. They were originally shot on colour neg. film, but then scanned into Photoshop where the image was cleaned up. I then reduced the colour, leaving the image almost completely desaturated but with a hint of colour, which I feel makes for a more visually interesting image.

Técnica
Estas imágenes fueron tomadas en formato grande de 5x4. Fueron originalmente tomadas en negativos a color, y luego digitalizadas y arregladas en Photoshop. Entoncés, reduzco el color, dejando la imagen casi completamente desaturada pero con un toque de color, lo cual creo que produce una imagen visualmente más interesante.

The aim of this project was to look at man's intervention in nature. I looked for locations where man has had a visual influence on the surroundings. I sought to look at this issue from an impartial standpoint, allowing the observer to make their own judgments.

This project was undertaken between September 2000 and January 2001.

Comentarios
El objetivo de este proyecto era el de observar la intervención del hombre en la naturaleza. Busqué lugares en donde el hombre ha tenido un impacto visual en sus alrededores. Intenté ver la cuestión desde un punto de vista imparcial, dejando que el observador haga sus propios juicios.

Este proyecto fue realizado entre septiembre del 2000 y enero de 2001.
