1) Because of their plump posture and heavy figure the hippo is well known to everyone and impossible to confuse with other animals.

2) Manure plays an important role in the life of the hippo, as the one who with short intervals tosses the biggest amount of manure around, dominates in advance his less productive family members.

3) Hippos express themselves particularly through noise and pose. If the hippo wants to intimidate an opponent he will open his mouth wide in his direction.

3)Los hipopótamos se expresan a través de ruidos y con sus cuerpos. Si uno de ellos quiere intimidar a su oponente abrirá sus fauces en dirección del rival.

4)Entre más reducido sea su espacio vital, con mayor frecuencia surgirán peleas .
