Between nostalgia and reconstruction I organize a new family album
with the present life. I find in my ancestors features and gestures
and that configure my actual face, identifying a way of being,
of living this world. In these autobiographic images I conciliate
the dissension between the reliabiltity of photography as an historical
document and photography as a creation. Is an interventional game,
time, memory and family that redounds in the invention of memories:
true testimonials of imagination. |

atrás, para tenerlo es preciso que lo mantenga en existencia
por medio de un proyecto; si ese proyecto es conocerlo, es necesario
que lo haga presente rememorándolo." Simone de Beauvoir.
Entre la nostalgia y la reconstrucción organizo un nuevo
álbum familiar a la luz de la vida presente. Encontrando
en mis antepasados rasgos y gestos que configuran mi rostro actual,
identificando una manera de ser, de vivir el mundo. En estas imágenes
autobiográficas, concilio la discordia entre la confiabilidad
de la fotografia como documento histórico y la fotografia
como creación. Es un juego de intervenciones, tiempo, memoria
y familia que redunda en la invención de recuerdos: testimonios
verdaderos de la imaginación. |
