I composed all of these portraits at carnivals, with the consent of each of my subjects. It is important to me that each and every person is a willing participant because I want an honest exchange between myself and the individual I am photographing. My intent is to capture the vibrant colors of the carnival and the unique people who frequent this atmosphere. I see my camera as a key that opens the door to their world allowing me to return with a meaningful photograph.

Estos retratos fueron tomados en ferias, con el consentimiento de cada uno de los sujetos. Para mí, es importante que cada una de estas personas participe por voluntad propia porque quiero que el intercambio entre el individuo fotografiado y yo sea honesto. Mi intención es capturar los alegres colores del carnaval y a las personas que frecuentan este ambiente. Concibo mi cámara como una llave que abre la puerta a su mundo permitiéndome volver con una fotografía significativa.
