What makes a photograph live? What makes it productive beyond its crystals, what brings it beyond my dictation to prophecy, to an entity of its own? What turns pixels into goosebumps?
I have found life in the time when no one is watching, in the act of pausing to reconcile the present with the past and the future. These spaces in our life are transitory, seemingly mundane, yet they inhabit our self-definitions with profound meanings. Not only do they exist with more impact than the stone landmarks of our lives, but elusive with their idiosyncrasy, they give context to and define these landmarks.
Within these jarring moments spread out to last only lifetimes, i explore the passage of time: how fleeting, how precious, how exact, yet how anonymous, what we hold onto in our lives to comfort ourselves and confront ourselves.

¿Qué hace una fotografía vivir? ¿Qué es lo que la hace productiva más allá de sus cristales, ¿qué lo que la lleva de mi dictado a la profecía, a una entidad propia? ¿Qué convierte a éstos pixeles en carne de gallinaa?
He encontrado vida en los momentos cuando nadie está mirando, en el acto de detenerse brevemente para reconciliar el presente con el pasado y el futuro. Estos espacios en nuestra vida son transitorios, aparentemente mundanos, con todo, habitan nuestras autodefiniciones con significados profundos. No sólo existen y con más impacto que los hitos de nuestras vidas, pero son evasivos en su idiosincrasia, dan contexto y definen estos hitos.
Dentro de estos momentos discordantes que duran vidas enteras, exploro el paso del tiempo: tan efímero, tan precioso, tan exacto, y sin embargo tan anónimo, todo aquello con lo que nos sostenemos en nuestras vidas para consolarnos y para enfrentarnos a nosotros mismos.
