This
triptych is part of the series 'Vacuidades' (Emptinesses) which
is made up of some 20 to 30 images. It is about the sense of emptiness
which I show through unsuspecting faces, allowing the weight of
my feelings that I want to show in this series to land on them.
There is a self-portrait in this triptych, the photo in between
with the person with a cigarrette in his mouth. Creating an atmosphere
of tension. |

Esta imagen se realizó en mayo de 2000. Es una parte
de la serie de Vacuidades, que consta de 20 a 30 imágenes
acerca del sentiminento del vacio, el cual muestro en rostros ajenos,
dejando caer en ellos el peso de mis sentimientos que quiero reflejar
dentro de esta serie. En este tríptico consta de un autorretrato
que es el de la foto de enmedio, la persona con el cigarro en la
boca. Creando una atmósfera de tensión. |
