This artwork is the combination of 2 ideas:

1) Taiwanese believe that some ghosts - spirits of the dead who were not able to find peace after death - are still haunting the world of the living from which they can't escape, tormenting the livings as they are tormented themselves.

2) Madness converts the livings into ghosts.

The Kidnapping is understood as the act of carrying away a person from her own "living's world" - in fact, keeping her body confined and tormenting her mind.

El presente trabajo combina 2 ideas:

1) La creencia taiwanesa de que algunos fantasmas, espíritus de los muertos que no fueron capaces de encontrar la paz después de la muerte, están aún rondando el mundo de los vivos del cual no pueden escapar, atormentando a los seres vivientes así como ellos mismos están atormentados.

2) La locura convierte a los seres vivos en fantasmas.

El Rapto se entiende como el acto de arrebatar a una persona de su propio "mundo viviente" - de hecho, el mantener a sus cuerpos confinados y atormentando a sus mentes.
