These photos are part of a series I have been working on during the past two years. They are the results of collaborations between the people pictured: strangers on the streets of downtown Chicago and myself (the balding fellow in each photo). To explain it simply, they took my photograph and I took theirs. Our individual portraits were superimposed over each other in the camera to produce one final image. So, in the end, we both played the role of photographer and subject.

Estas fotografías son parte de una serie en la que he estado trabajando por los últimos dos años. Son el resultado de la colaboración entre la gente retratada: desconocidos de las calles del centro de Chicago y yo (el hombre calvo de cada foto). Para explicarlo de modo simple, ellos me retrataron y yo a ellos. Nuestros retratos indiviudales se sobrepusieron en la cámara para crear la imagen final. Por lo que, en último término, ambos jugamos el papel de fotógrafo y sujeto.
