Comments
These photographs are a sampling of work I have done over the
past three years, specifically from an on-going project called
"Urban". I was born and raised in the heart of Chicago,
USA and feel a strong spiritual connection to the city. This devotion
and connection to my hometown has resulted in the examination
and interest in the beauty of urban areas around the world.
I believe that shadows and motions, glances and whispers are glimpses
into the spirit of a person or place. As a Zen master once said,
"It's all in the details". I attempt to capture the
delicate moments of the fast-paced, gritty, and fickle City, where
it is so easy overlook the beauty and romance of the environment.

Comentarios
Estas fotografías son una muestra del trabajo que he
venido realizando en los últimos tres años, en particular
para un proyecto inconcluso titulado "Urbano". Nací
y me crié en el corazón de Chicago, EU, ciudad con
la que tengo una conexión espiritual muy fuerte. Esta devoción
y conexión con mi ciudad natal me ha llevado a examinar y
a interesarme por la belleza de otras zonas urbanas del mundo.
Creo que las sombras y los movimientos, las miradas y los susurros
dejan entrever el espíritu de una persona o un lugar. Un
maestro Zen dijo una vez, "Todo está en los detalles".
Intento capturar esos frágiles momentos de la apresurada,
animosa y veleidosa Ciudad, en la que es muy fácil perder
de vista la belleza y el romance del entorno. |
