These photos were taken in Liverpool, UK. There is a great deal of building work going on on the city in preparation for 2008, when we are designated European City of Culture - an honour which many people look upon with a large degree of scepticism. At the moment there are signs everywhere, along with the normal chaos of posters, shop signs etc.

Hay mucho trabajo de construcción en la ciudad preparàndola para el año 2008, año en que fue designada Ciudad Europea de la Cultura, un honor que mucha gente mira con gran escepticismo. En este momento hay letreros por todas partes junto al caos normal de pósteres, anuncios de tiendas, etc.
