These photos were taken towards the end of September 2001 (these
were the days of anthrax, and the fear and pain provoked by New
York). I was once again visiting London as a tourist and I went
out to the streets wanting to prove to myself that with an Ixus
digital camera I could do something worthwhile (I had my doubts
because of its tiny size). |

Estas fotos las hice a finales de septiembre de 2001 (eran los
días del ántrax, el miedo y el dolor por New York).
Visitaba Londres como turista reincidente, y salí a sus calles
dispuesto a demostrarme a mí mismo que con una Ixus digital
(su reducidísimo tamaño me planteaba dudas) podría
hacer algo interesante. |

Technique
The technique I used consisted in taking advantage of the
camera's small size and ease of use to conquer my shyness and
make some quick visual sketches of things that catched my eye.

tamaño y la sencillez de uso de esta cámara para
vencer mi timidez y captar, así, unos apuntes visuales
rápidos de cuanto me llamó la atención.
