My favorite TV show in the early '70's was Star Trek. I dreamt of a notebook with a camera, like the communicators on the Enterprise. In 2001 my dream became reality: I purchased an Eyemodule2 camera that fits in the Handspring Visor organizer.
The highest resolution of the Eyemodule2 (640x480 pixels) is the lowest resolution of today's digital cameras. The Eyemodule2 images have a feel similar to Diana and Holga camera images of the film world. The rock bottom pixel count -- which makes for "barely the facts" images -- is one thing I love about it. The other is how invisible I can be with it: stylus in one hand, staring down at the organizer in the other, I can silently make snap after snap, yet I simply project -- "don't mind me, just organizing here..."

Mi programa de televisión favorita aprincipios de los setenta era "Viaje a las estrellas". Soñaba con un cuaderno con cámara como los comunicadores del "Enterprise". En el 2001 mi sueño se volvió realidad y compré una cámara Eyemodule 2 que cabe en el visor de la agenda electrónica Handsprieng Organizer. La resolución más alta del Eyemodule 2(640x 480 pixeles) es la más baja de las cámaras digitales actuales. Las imágenes del Eyemodule 2 tienen un efecto similar al de las cámaras de película Holga y Diana. El menor número de pixeles que da un efecto de "solo lo indispensable", es algo qeu adoro de ella. La otra es lo invisible que me vuelvo con ella, el lápiz en una mano viendo fijamente a la agenda en la otra mano, puedo tomar foto tras foto silenciosamente sin que se note.
