There
is only one way to penetrate darkness. Artificial flashes build
recognizable silhouettes before one’s eyes and once reconstructed,
they show us the big picture.
Light has always served as a guide. The question remains suspended
in the air: what are we looking for? Without visible frontiers,
without actual limits, the unknown cannot be answered. Travelers
find themselves lost in the immensity of variables and symbols.
Aimlessly, light becomes a labyrinth of never-ending shadows. An
illusion that fades away once it is discovered.
This brief enumeration begins with a search that flows from deep
inside and is externalized in an act as simple as a click of the
shutter. The entire weight falls on the interpretation of these
inner moments. The objective is to find a logical order for a complex
reality, for an immediate moment, for a drive (constant energy
that buzzes, comparable to searchlights).
The night and its fragments carefully and untiringly illuminated
will continue in the same place. Isn’t it because we ourselves
are the ones that move? We will continue to move without knowing
what we are seeking, without really knowing anything at all.

Solo existe una manera -one way- de adentrarse en la oscuridad.
Los destellos artificiales arman siluetas reconocibles ante los
ojos y una vez reconstruidas nos muestran la imagen completa -the
big picture.
La luz siempre ha tenido la función de guía. La pregunta
queda suspendida en el aire: ¿qué buscamos? Sin fronteras
visibles, sin límites existentes, la incógnita no
podrá ser contestada. Perdido en la inmensidad de variables
y símbolos se encuentra el viajero. Sin rumbo, la luz se
convierte en un laberinto de sombras interminables. Una ilusión
que se desvanece una vez descubierta.
Este breve recuento comienza como una búsqueda que fluye
del interior y se exterioriza en un acto tan sencillo como accionar
una cámara. Todo el peso cae en la interpretación
de estos momentos internos. El objetivo es encontrar un orden lógico
a una realidad compleja, a un momento actual, a una pulsión
(energía constante que emite un zumbido, comparable con
la emitida por los faros).
La noche y sus fragmentos cuidadosamente e incansablemente iluminados
seguirán en el mismo lugar, ¿no será acaso
que nosotros nos movemos? Seguiremos moviéndonos sin saber
que buscamos, sin saber nada realmente.
