Photography and travel are my dual passions. Having lived and traveled in Asia for nearly a decade and wandered the great American southwest, my images reflect my passion for both regions and their vitality & color.

My passion for photography combined with my affinity for the creativity of abstract painting has also led me to experiment with combining the two mediums into my latest canvases and prints. The resultant union provides me with an even more inventive art form, one that incorporates the strokes of abstract painting with the powers of photography. This allows me to capture more imaginative landscapes of color, shape, form, texture and depth in what I call"photo-painting".

La fotografía y los viajes son mis pasiones. Viví y viajé por Asia durante casi una década y también viajé por el SUroeste de Estados Unidos. Mis imágenes reflejan mi pasión por ambas regiones y su vitalidad y colorido.

Mi pasión por la foto combinada con mi afinidad por la creatividad del la pintura abstracta también me ha llevado a experimentar combinando ambos medios en mis últimos lienzos e impresiones. La unión resultante me dió una forma de arte aun más inventiva, una que incorpora los brochazos de la pintura abstracta con el poder de la fotografía. Esto me permite capturar paisajes más imaginativos de color, forma, textura y profundidad que llamo foto-pintura..
