Ambilocuencias was born from my necessity to pry in my inner inner world and then to watch towards the outside, then to return inwards and so on, in an endless circle of gazes and reflections, of threading ideas… It is a constant game with those images that are hidden in some corner of my mind, crouching like a cat on the verge of jumping. Sometimes I go out and hunt that image furtively and I give a legible, identifiable, prudent form to that mist through photography. These images, that I read in my own way, are not locked up with key; on the contrary, I have broken the padlock to that release them from the cage that is my mind and my hand. Once they are released, they belong to someone else, and are they are th ones that allow themselves to be read, they flirt in many ways, all dressed up, and winking to whom they please.
So all this is but an excuse to draw with photographs, dreams and sensations. There is no ambition in them. It comes from filtering fog with a strainer…
It is simply a surrender to the power that disturbs me.

Ambilocuencias nace de la necesidad de hurgar en mi interior mundo interior y de mirar, a continuación, hacia el exterior para volver otra vez hacia adentro y así sucesivamente, en un círculo sin fin de miradas y reflejos, hilvanando ideas... Es un juego constante con esas imágenes que hay escondidas en algún rincón de mi mente, agazapadas como un gato a punto de saltar. A veces salgo a cazar furtivamente esa imagen y le doy a la niebla una forma legible, identificable, cuerda, al fin, a través de la fotografía. Estas imágenes, que yo leo a mi manera, no están encerradas con llave; al contrario, he roto el candado para liberarlas así de la jaula que es mi mente y que es mi mano. Una vez libres, son ya ajenas a mí, a mi mundo introspectivo y son ellas las que se dejan leer, coquetas, de muchas formas y lucen sus mejores galas y le guiñan el ojo a quien ellas quieren.
Así que todo ello no es más que una excusa para dibujar con fotografías sueños y sensaciones. No hay ninguna ambición en ellas. Va de filtrar niebla con un colador...
Es simplemente una rendición al poder de lo que me perturba.
