During the six months in which Viviana went through chemotherapy first and radiotherapy afterwards, family relationships were very difficult. We were all desperate because of the situation, but each one of us experienced it in his or her own way. We had few possibilities of listening to the others' emotional needs, and we each had a great need of being listened to. In those moments, both Viviana and I felt there were no words that could express our feelings. Each one suffered in his or her own way.
