The sound of our walking steps on wooden floors, the sound of the wind against paper walls, the quiet sound of the water in a small fountain; all these everyday sounds, which are related to Japanese architecture, are intended to help the individual attain a spiritual and contemplative state in his life. On the other hand, sound art has been widely developed in Japan, and I was interested in exchanging ideas and experiences with Japanese sound artists, contemporary music composers, and traditional musicians.
