We are presented with issues, injustices and agendas that demand
us to evaluate and make tough decisions. An important function no
doubt, but I fear that t we are being crushed by the sheer negativism
of it all. Equal time must be given to that which elevates the spirit,
enriches our lives and gives us hope. To do this we need to rekindle
the sensations of childhood again that should never have been lost
- exploration, discovery and wonder. And then, with no preconceived
notions clouding our vision we can celebrate beauty - it replenishes
and feeds the soul. The visual gifts that were given to me I would
like in turn to give to the viewer in the form of a photographic
image. It is my hope that he or she would realize that visual gifts
are available to everyone. They await those willing to look at the
world not unlike a child - with amazement and delight along with
an appreciation for what we have been given. |

Se nos presentan grandes temas, injusticias y agendas que exigen
nuestra evaluación y la toma de decisiones difíciles.
Sin duda, una función importante, pero temo que estamos siendo
aplastados por todo lo negativo. Debe dedicarse igual cantidad de
tiempo a aquello que eleva el espíritu, enriquece nuestras
vidas y nos dá esperanza. Necesitamos hacer esto para revivir
las sensaciones de la infancia que nunca debieron perderse, exploración,
descubrimeinto y maravilla. Entonces , sin nociones preconcebidas
que nublen nuestra vista podremos celebrar la belleza que llena
y alimenta el alma. Quisiera que los regalos visuales que me fueron
dados sean correspondidos al espectador en forma de fotos. Es mi
esperanza que él o ella se percate de que los regalos visuales
están disponibles para todos. Aguardan a aquellos dispuestos
a mirar al mundo al igual que un niño, con asombro y placer
junto con el aprecio de lo que les ha sido dado. |
