After school Iqbal, Rabeya, Phalan, Peyara, Shephali, Zakir, Pintu, Moli,Shopna, Dadon and I sat on the floor on the verandah, looking at pictures and discussing why they were important. Looking at a picture of the garment kids who had died in the fire at Mirpur No 10 Moli talked of how everyone knew the owner had dumped the bodies in the drain at night. "If I had a camera, I would take his picture and put the guy in jail" she said angrily. That was what got us going. |
