Shanika

Shanika (9 years) was staying with her aunt in Hikkaduwa when the waves came. Her father Priyantha Sandaramarakala, age: 37 was a fisherman who rescued several Tsunami victims from drowning before putting his own wife and two daughters on the train. His wife and four daughters died. Two were in the house. Shanika survived but her twin sister died.
