During
the Day of the Dead celebrations in Cocula, in Guerrero State, Mexico,
families create 'live offrendas' to those members of their family
who have died in the last year. People turn their houses into sacred
theatres, and neighbours queue to visit each other's homes to pay
their respects and celebrate the lives of those lost. This young girl
stood for the whole night dressed as the Virgin of Guadalupe.
